This is a series of articles on how to customise work-papers. We will cover everything from changing a work item on a page to creating yourself a completely new set of templates. The plan is to start simple and work up, so we suggest you complete these in sequence as tutorials as each will build on the last.
In this tutorial we will look at what you do to adopt a standard page that you have customised.
Firstly remember that if you have started working on a page but have not yet published it, you will find it to work on again under your firm area, not under the 'Audit Assistant' area.
This is important because if you return to the original version, duplicate again and start working on that you will lose the work you have already done.
An unpublished page will be bright blue with an arrow like this:

Once you have completed your work on a page then publish it. We recommend that you add a brief comment to help you remember what you changed and why:

In the index for that type of client under your firm jobs the published page will now appear in blue like this to indicate a customised page:

Now once you create a new job from your masters (Demo & Associates) this custom page will appear by default.
To bring your custom page into an existing job, go onto the existing page you wish to change to the custom one and select 'edit':

Next you will see this screen where you can chose to swap the page for one from another job type:

Select the button next to your custom page and then 'save'.
