The server went down at 8:30 this morning, We are working on it now - should be up again shortly hopefully.
Update 9:20 - we rebooted the server at Orcon and this is working normally however there seems to be a problem with their connection to the internet. We are trying to contact them at present.
Update 9:35 - Orcon are aware of the issue - we are waiting on them to get back to us with a solution
Update 10:20 - Phoned Orcon again - they have an issue where all their Cloud Servers are down - they estimate that they should be back up in an hour or so (say 11:30?)
Update 1:30 - Phoned Orcon again - they have officially listed on their status updates that "There is currently an outage with iServe Could Services - Engineers are investigating". In the meantime we have provisioned a temporary VPS (Virtual Private Server) with Sitehost which we should have running by this evening. This is a temporary step towards a dedicated server with Sitehost which takes a few days to set up. So service should be restored by tomorrow at the latest.
Update 5:00pm - Our monitoring software informs us that Audit Assistant is back up. Orcon have recovered. Meanwhile we have been setting up temporarily on a Sitehost VPS. We can now put this on hold. We will still procede with plans to transfer to a dedicated server on Sitehost as Orcon seem to be moving away from hosting Cloud applications (no longer advertised on their website) since iServe (where we originally set it up) was purchased by Orcon. A busy day... Thanks everyone for your patience.
