In the past one deadline was set at the beginning of a job, but key dates could be added in the client contact page which appeared in the sidebar. We are combining and extending these features so that deadlines will be dynamic and show up on the home page.

We will be updating templates so that "key dates" will be replaced by deadlines. Anywhere in the template where a mission-critical date is added this will show up in the side-bar when the "Next Deadline" bar is opened. On the homepage the next due date will show, and change colour as it becomes due or overdue.

As we upgrade templates you will notice that this feature will become available, and is already available at a master level to those of you who customise or create your own templates.
