Links to standards to open in a new tab or window

Clicking on a link to an external site opens the page in the current tab replacing Audit Assistant. It's possible use right-click to open in a different tab but would it be better if these pages opened in a different tab by default?

I don't personally have a problem as am in the habit of right clicking and opening in a new tab so I can drag it to my second screedn.
