Tell Xero you want better access for auditors

Graeme Harvey from Audit Hawkes Bay has added a request to Xero Product Ideas that we suggested to them many years ago but which never happened - that they give a proper read-only mode for auditors, as the current one is too limited to drill down properly, but full access is more than we should have as we should not be able edit transactions or post journals etc.

Graeme's suggestion is "We're auditors and some of our clients are having issues around providing consistent access to everything as they don't want us to have read-write access, and we don't want that either. What we'd like is a user class for auditors/regulators which is read only and allows access to everything."

He says "Can I suggest that you ask all the audit assistant users to vote up this idea with Xero to give auditors read only access to everything please."

We think this is a great idea - if we all ask we might get some attention.
