V2026 coming up!

We’re pleased to let you know that our testing of the v2026 platform and new 2026 templates has been progressing well and will be in general release very soon. The v2026 platform offers improved performance (speed) and security, while keeping the experience familiar. We expect minimal impact to your workflow, as the new version is stylistically very similar to the current Version 3. Existing steps and pages in current templates will remain unchanged. Data migration (roll-forwards) will continue as at present. The new v2026 platform must be adopted before the new templates can be used, hence our urgency to get this out soon.

We’ll be transitioning all users to the new platform over the period 1 July to 15 August. As we are rolling out the upgrade, you’ll be notified of the specific timing via your Dashboard within Audit Assistant.

Our new LCE and 2026 ISA templates will be available from 1 July 2026. These new templates introduce:
- The enhanced trial balance
- The new risk tool
- Supporting libraries for risks, controls, audit procedures and management letter points.

These updates represent a significant step forward in how risks are identified, assessed, and addressed within Audit Assistant. Note that your existing templates will remain available, so you can adopt the new 2026 templates at your own pace.
