Most templates have prior 2 and prior 3 years showing in the trial balance, and in some analytical review pages but not in the lead schedules. Is there a way to hide these extra columns if not being used, or where not showing, is there a way to make them show up?
A. Individual pages that show trial balance data (TB, AR lead schedules and some sub-pages) can be changed to toggle prior years 2 and 3 on or off. To do so, click the 'customise' button at the bottom right of the page (this has to be done on a page-by-page basis). Next click the 'Start Customising" button.
Then, next to the Query: Trial Balance Display line, click the down arrow marked "customise."
Then, the edit icon on that line opens the query.
On the TB page, it looks like this:
Unselect the "Show all prior year columns" to remove the extra columns.
On other pages (lead schedules and AR pages) it will look something like this:
To show prior years tick the "Show all prior year columns" option and save.
The page will now display the four years of data.
To deselect multi-years, do the same thing, but untick "Show all prior year columns."
