A user reported that while working through an existing client that has audited as a been a Tier 2 NFP for years, they upgraded to the new template version, and it appears that all the disclosure checklist information has been removed in the upgrade (not able to be brought forward).
A. This is an unintended consequence of how we brought the checklist into the 2024 template compared to the 2023 template. In 2023 we used "external workpapers" which means pages from a separate template - in this case the NZ PBE Requirements (2022) template.
In the 2024 Tier 1 and 2 NFP template you are now using we brought the steps in by duplicating out of the same NZ PBE Requirements (2022) template, assuming that the responses would follow as they use the same hidden references. But as noted that doesn't appear to be happening.
Our team are going to develop a way to manually hook up points like this that become detached from their inheritance path, as this will also be important when we start updating the templates significantly going forward.
In the meantime, users could extract the responses from the prior year PDF as attachments and note that nothing has changed.
