Formatting applies specifically for editing documents and creating new documents, however bolding and italics may be applied in work items when editing work-papers, and in comments boxes when doing regular work.

Styling text when creating and editing documents:
To make a bullet point you must create a new line in the document enter 'space' then 'dash' then 'space' ( - ).

To insert a yellow field (user-editable area directly in a document) use [[double_square_brackets]] this may also act as a highlighter to draw attention to an item.

To make a heading with bold extra large font enter a '#' before the text.

Variables:
Variables may be used anywhere to pull in data from elsewhere in the file - adding the account firm name is a common variable used (see example below):
