With so many options, users may want to flag the commonly used templates for easier selection and so that no mistakes are made.
- Templates are flagged at a firm level so a manager or partner can specify which ones they want staff to use (if there are options), and to push to the background job types that the firm does not carry out.
- To flag a template go to the 'templates' tab in the top bar and at the right next to the latest update date select the yellow star next to the job type you want to select as a favourite:
- Then use the filter dropdown to select 'Starred' to only see these jobs:
- When creating a new client you will see the starred templates highlighted at the top. Scroll down for non-starred templates:
- Retired templates are hidden by default but may be viewed using the "Include retired content" checkbox (see above).
- We mark templates as retired when they are very unlikely to be used as they have been superseded by new standards, however they are still there if required.
- Users will receive a prompt to update if a template goes out of date.
- In this case users will need to manually unselect their old favourite and select the new one.
