Creation
On the Jobs page, there is an option to create a "New Client." Click this button to start creating a new job.
- An editor will appear where the client's name may be added, a template type chosen and year-end date added.
- A client code may also be added, corresponding the firm's internal billing code. This will be included on the monthly bill for firms using the disbursement pricing plan, to enable easy allocation of job cost.
- Existing jobs may be edited to add this field after creation if required.
- To find the correct template, it may help to filter them from the list of available ones (see below).
- Templates may be starred to indicate that they are commonly used favourites.
- Templates that have been superseded may still be accessed if required by using the "Include Retired Content" tick box (for instance when an old job is being done that it is appropriate to complete under an older reporting standard).
- Search by typing in key details and and/or filtering down to a category.
- If the checkbox for "Client is part of a group" is selected, you are able to make the client a part of a group.
- Jobs may also be created by duplicating another job (see duplicate and restore function).
- Jobs may also be created from the templates tab.
Edit and delete
To edit or delete a job click the triple dots to the right of the client.
- From here you are able to change the name, year-end dates, or even the template type. After making changes remember to click the save button on the bottom left of the editor.
- To delete the client, simply select delete from the context menu that appears when you press the triple dots.
