Minutes review is carried out in a table designed for this purpose. Tests are set up on the parent page – such as whether the minutes were signed as approved, reference to previous minutes, reports tabled and payments approved. These are set up from the prior page, or if they are already there by default may be deleted, additional steps selected or a new custom test added.
Now create the table also from the D1 page (List of meetings to test). Open the table and start adding minutes details like date, and type of meeting. Check that the tests are met and tick them off all at once using "Pass all tests" or one by one to identify any non-compliance - which will be identified as "deviations."
Add each issue raised in the minutes as a comment, and then use the cross reference feature to link the comment to elsewhere in the file. For instance, the minutes record the purchase of a new vehicle, so this may be added as a comment, a quick check made that this is included as an assert addition, and a cross reference added to the N (Fixed Assets) section.
Next let's say that the minutes record that there has been an employee added. Add another comment, and cross reference it to the I (Payroll) section.
Continue adding minutes until you have reviewed the whole year. Add in post balance date as well, AGM and any special minutes. You may also upload the minutes themselves as attachments if required.
